About

I design products for moments when the system is complicated but the experience shouldn’t be. My work sits between product strategy, systems thinking, and hands-on craft—turning fragmented workflows into clear, durable tools people can trust.

That curiosity has taken me from early web experiments and a Human-Centered Design class in Northern Ireland to leading global rewards work at American Express, security and identity products at Cisco, and now real-time operations platform design at Axon.

Outside work, I’m a recent Seattle transplant making the most of the Pacific Northwest. My camera roll is mostly trees, landscapes, and mountain trails—and lately pottery has become a new creative outlet.

Let’s make complex things feel clear.

I’m always interested in thoughtful product challenges, emerging technology, and teams working through meaningful ambiguity.

What it’s like to work with Matt.

A few words from designers and product partners I’ve had the privilege to lead and collaborate with.

I’ve been fortunate enough to partner with Matt on a number of initiatives over the last few years and have found him to be one of the best UX designers and leaders I’ve had the pleasure of working with. Matt is great at helping to keep teams focussed on user problems and executes at a high level through visualizing and articulating experiences both within and beyond a given team he is working on. He is also someone that is capable of influencing cross functionally and has… more
